Then CrossFit is for YOU. Our classes take place at the FITT Warehouse (our Newnan gym) or a local park. Every workout is different! Since you will rarely do the same thing twice, you are less likely to lose interest or get bored than if you were doing the same circuits at the gym three days a week. Because our workouts are rarely more than 45 minutes long, they can fit into even the busiest schedules.
Finally, CrossFit is FUN! Our coaches and participants are welcoming, supportive, and committed to creating an environment where everyone can succeed. We encourage the “group dynamic” where friendly competition and camaraderie combine to elicit extra effort, intensity and accountability. We counsel nutrition and recovery and support your personal goals.
We “keep score” and log your efforts to track improvement. CrossFit is “the sport of fitness.”
CrossFit workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements (e.g. pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, and running) executed at high intensity. The workouts themselves are completely scalable, which means a new participant and a CrossFit veteran can complete the same workout with changes in load and intensity. CrossFit workouts will deliver phenomenal fitness in and of themselves or as a compliment to your sport-specific training regime. CrossFit’s specialty is not specializing in any one fitness style. Daily life, like many sports and professions (even combat) requires broad levels of fitness. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind !!
